He then provided information around the loan process itself and the type of information we needed to be collecting in order to start the loan process. More importantly, he provided excellent advice on mortgage loan interest rates and suggested we wait to lock in. Once rates were at the lowest point we could expect given our close date, Rhett suggested we lock them in—which proved to be sound advice. Everyone needs to understand you are taking a risk when making these sorts of decisions, and Rhett clearly outlined the risk and let us make the decision we felt was best for us. There was no pressure on Rhett’s part….only information provided by Rhett with us being the final decision makers. Rhett kept us well informed along the way throughout the loan process and leading up to our close date. He reached out frequently, providing updates on where things stood. Once we closed on our new home, Rhett reached out to explain when and how to start payments on our new mortgage. We could not have been happier with the services Rhett and his team provided.
